The search is on for 2010 Marketer, Agency, and Media Player of the Year

Kids are back to school, summer vacations are over, the days are getting shorter and Marketing magazine has begun its search for the top performers of 2010.

The editorial team is already poring over the news from the last year, calling up trusted sources and experts, reviewing campaigns and award show winner lists in search of the Agency of the Year, Marketer of the Year and Media Player of the Year.

Short lists of the media and marketer contenders will be profiled in the Nov. 8 issue of Marketing, with the agency contenders showcased in the Nov. 22 issue.

From those short lists a final winner in each category will be revealed and profiled in the final issue of the year, Dec. 13.

Using the three overarching criteria of innovation, performance and industry leadership as a guide, the winners are ultimately picked by Marketing with input from industry leaders. But Marketing also wants to hear from all of those marketing, media, and agency professionals who think their organization is worthy of consideration.

Below you will find three different nomination forms. This is your chance to make your pitch; take some time to tell us why your organization deserves to make the list. All forms must be submitted by Sept. 30.

We welcome as much detail as possible but be prepared for a little “fact checking” from the team at Marketing in the weeks ahead.
