Digital Marketing Awards

At the discretion of the jury, the maximum number of awards to be given out will be six per category - one each of Gold, Silver and Bronze and up to three Certificates of Merit. Based on the quality of work, the panel may award anywhere from one to six, or none at all. In addition, the panel may award up to three Craft Awards. All winners will be showcased at the Digital Marketing Awards Gala in November and Gold winners will be presented with a Digital Marketing Awards trophy. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Certificate of Merit winners will receive two certificates by mail directly after the gala. To order additional certificates or gold trophies, email tina.weston@rci.rogers.com.

Craft Awards
Three Craft Awards can be awarded from amongst all submissions for any submission that stands out with exceptional execution in a specific area. Any submission that at least two-thirds of the jury feel fits the following criteria can be selected for a craft award:

1. Excellence in Visual Design: Does the submission have an outstanding design aspect that stands out above all others?

2. Excellence in User Experience Design: Does the submission have an outstanding user experience that stands out above all others?

3. Excellence in Functional Execution (e.g., Flash, Java, etc): Does the submission have an outstanding functional aspect that stands out above all others?

Best of Show
The Best of Show award will be selected amongst the winners in all categories. The award will be selected by jury vote and any submission receiving more than 50% of jury votes will win. If no single submission gets more than 50% of votes, the winner will be selected by the majority of votes cast by each of the two jury co-chairs and a representative of Marketing.

The winner of the Best of Show will be presented with a Digital Marketing Awards Best of Show trophy at the Digital Marketing Awards Gala in November. In addition, Marketing will enter the Best of Show winner into the 2010 Cannes Advertising Festival.

Awards Issue
The complete list of winners will be posted online at www.marketingmag.ca in early November. A winners' booklet will be distributed at the gala and also poly bagged with the mid-November Marketing issue.
