Shipping and delivery company Canpar has awarded marketing duties for a new service to Toronto agency Elemental.
After conducting an agency review in late 2009, Canpar chose Elemental in January to create an online, direct mail and print campaign to launch this spring.
The campaign will advertise Canpar's new Pick Up On Demand–a pay-as-you-go shipping service for companies and individuals who don't have accounts with the company.
"Prior to reviewing our options late last year we had always handled our communications internally" said Laurie Stoneburgh, vice-president, sales and customer service, in a statement. "We wanted to work with someone who could look at the product and brand holistically and offer an integrated solution."
"This is a brand that has been around since the '70s," said Brent Wardrop, creative director at Elemental. "We are excited to help with the immediate need and to start looking at the entire brand to help position them as a competitor in the world of shipping."
