December 19, 2008 | By Jeromy Lloyd
With the entry deadline just two months away, the 2009 Marketing Awards co-chairs have announced the 15 Canadian members of the awards jury.
“We’re really excited about the group we’ve brought together,” said Patrick Scissons, vice-president, group creative director, BBDO Toronto. “Aside from all having great work behind them, these are people that truly understand the big picture and the ever-changing landscape we work in.”
Scissons’ co-chair, Frédéric Girard, a Montreal-based creative director (most recently with Sid Lee), seconded Scissons’ appraisal, adding “Smart people who don’t mind being locked in a room with cold coffee and finger sandwiches for 48 hours straight.”
