A recap of who’s headed where in Canadian marketing communications

MICHAEL ORRBROOKE joined Rdio as general manager of Canadian operations from luxury pet supply retailer Bark & Fitz, where he had been president and CEO since 2007. Prior to this he held a series of brand management and strategic sponsorship roles with several telecom and technology companies.

Beyond Marketing Group added BRENDAN BRADY as an account supervisor to lead the Scion Canada account. Brady has over six years of client service experience developing strategic solutions for big name brands such as Labatt Breweries and Rogers Communications.

TRACEY JOHNSON moved from Starcom MediaVest Group to M2 where she holds the title of director, client business partner. Johnson has over 15 years of strategy and buying experience across a variety of sectors including retail, CPG, automotive, travel and technology. At SMG Canada, for instance, she developed strategic media plans for P&G.

Ottawa agency, Banfield, added six partners to its leadership team: associate creative director TIMOTHY JONES, account director VERONIQUE GRAVEL, senior writer DERRICK OUTRAM, communications director KELLY RUSK, account director KRISTAL FELEA and associate video and motion director RYAN GREVATT.
