Aline co-founders Rick Abbruzzese and Lorelei Derera

Apollo Group promoted CHARLIE JANSON to VP, head of global business development, effective immediately. She also joins the agency’s board of directors. Janson, who has been with the agency for more than five years, now oversees marketing activities and business development for Apollo Group and Apollo Music Store.

Environics Communications added three new members to its team. DANIEL O’DONNELL joined the firm’s corporate and finance practice as a senior consultant, while ALEXANDER SMITH and BROOKE SOTO joined as account coordinators.

TANYA OTIS joined Twist Marketing’s Calgary office as communications manager. Otis recently developed and implemented public relations and social media campaigns for Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort.

Konrad Group hired BEN PROUT as an account director. He was most recently an account supervisor, managing the Tangerine, UP Express and Sponge Towels account at Toronto’s John St.

Advertising veterans RICK ABBRUZZESE and LORELEI DERERA opened the doors on a full service agency in Toronto called Aline Marketing & Communications. Both spent the last three years working with the Tag Idea Revolution – Abbruzzese as an associate creative director and Derera as a senior account director.
