CURRENTLY HIRING A GROUP MEDIA MANAGER

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Group Media Manager you will accountable for fully managing your own client portfolio.  You will be responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns from conception to execution. You will be a key influencer in developing the strategy behind campaigns. You will also oversee the planning and buying phases of integrated marketing campaigns while ensuring that campaigns are executed flawlessly and in a timely fashion.  You will be a key client contact and will be responsible for building excellent relationships and being able to adapt to their needs. As a Group Media Manager you will be a crucial leader within the Media department as you will be responsible for mentoring and training a team of juniors underneath you. This is an exciting opportunity as it offers the chance to run high profile campaigns, be a mentor and take part in an agency that is taking risks within the media world!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 – 7 years of integrated Media Planning and Buying experience
  • Experience working in a full-service agency and/or agency integration. 
  • An experienced people manager and previous experience managing clients
  • Excellent strategic and presentation skills.
  • CPG experience (Considered an asset)
  • Strong understanding of media strategy development
  • Innovative thinking and approaches
  • Ability to manage and deliver on multiple demands within challenging deadlines
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to see a new idea through from concept to execution
  • Strong attention to detail and very good at overseeing budget control

Media Planner

Toronto - Ontario

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Media Planner you will work closely and collaboratively with direct media planning teams, other departments and media buyers either in-house or at partner agencies. Some of your typical responsibilities will include:

 

·          Create and maintain strong relationships with media vendors

·          Build respect and trust with clients by meeting deadlines, and providing council

·          Undertake research and analysis using industry data resources

·          Identify consumer insights, analyzing media habits

·          Help to develop media strategies and campaigns, with an emphasis on digital

·          Present media plans and POV’s to client

·          Maintain budget documentation and tracking

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

·          Strong understanding of media strategy development

·          Ability to manage and deliver on multiple demands within challenging deadlines

·          In-depth knowledge of all major media vehicles, especially digital

·          Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients

·          Outstanding negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to see a new idea through from concept to execution

·          Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills 

·          Post Secondary education (Post Secondary education in advertising an asset)

·          2 - 4 years experience in media planning

·          Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PMB)

·          General knowledge of industry media resource tools (Nadbank, PMB, Comscore etc)
