FCV wins digital agency of record status for BC ministry

FCV has been named the digital agency of record for the BC Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training.

The win involves all aspects of digital marketing, including web application development and maintenance services for Tourism BC’s main website hellobc.com, and several microsites. Dare is the agency of record for Tourism BC. The incumbent for digital marketing is T4G Limited.

John Starke, president and CEO of Vancouver-based FCV, said the win comes on the heels of a number of new clients, including BC Transit, BC Hydro, Health Quality Ontario and Metrolinx.

Starke said the agency will open a Toronto office in January to service the growing accounts from Ontario. “We’ll be starting with less than 10 people in the Toronto office,” said Starke. “I would hope that within a few years the Toronto office is bigger than the Vancouver office.”

The staff count is now at just under 60. Other long-term clients include the Canadian Tourism Commission, Rocky Mountaineer, Future Shop and the Government of Alberta.
