Robyn Gorman is the newly promoted senior vice-president, general manager at MacLaren McCann.
She takes over from Denise Wong, who is now executive vice-president at George P. Johnson in Los Angeles.
In her new role, Gorman is responsible for leading business growth and overseeing key clients such as Mark’s, Mastercard, Wendy’s and WIND Mobile, said Doug Turney, agency president and CEO.
“Robyn is a natural leader. When she first joined our team, it was readily apparent she would excel in our integrated and collaborative work environment, and I am thrilled to see her exceed the expectations of her colleagues and clients across the country,” said Turney, in a statement.
Gorman joined MacLaren McCann in September 2011 as president of Momentum, the agency’s experiential division. Before that she held progressively senior positions at Draft Worldwide, Young & Rubicam, Pareto and Launch! a division of CIM.
Gorman’s old position will be filled by Ryan Walker, who has been made VP, general manager at Momentum. Walker was previously senior management director at IMS Canada.
