Former KBS+ Canada president Mario Daigle has joined the Montreal office of global design/technology consulting firm Nurun as the executive vice-president and general manager. His appointment is effective immediately.
He will be tasked with steering the Montreal-based digital/innovation team, overseeing business development and leading client partnerships. In addition, he will serve on the global executive committee, helping to define the company’s big-picture vision for the future.
Daigle left KBS+ in March of last year, replaced by Annie Aubert. Daigle’s CV also includes a stint as partner, senior vice-president and general manager of Allard-Johnson Communications, and director of client services at LBJ-FRB Communications.
In a statement announcing the appointment, Nurun president and CEO Jacques-Hervé Roubert lauded Daigle’s client-focused, business management skills and his ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, which “make him ideally suited to take [the] Montreal office to the next level.”
A subsidiary of Québecor Média, Nurun operates 12 offices worldwide and has worked for the likes of Adidas, Coca-Cola, Google, Tesla Motors, Sony and Walmart.
