Sharma out at Isobar

After two years at Isobar Canada, senior vice-president and managing director Mike Sharma has parted ways with the company.
An Isobar media representative confirmed Sharma’s departure Monday. Isobar executives did not wish to comment.
A digital marketing veteran of 20 years, Sharma worked at Fjord Interactive, Zig, MSN Canada, OgilvyInteractive and the self-started Society, etc. before coming to Isobar in 2011 on a mission to raise the profile of the Aegis Media-owned agency.
Sharma is Isobar’s second senior-level departure in recent weeks. Jamie King, its creative director since September 2012, left the agency on Aug. 26 to join Ambit, which currently does digital and social work for Nike as one of its agencies of record.
Until a replacement is found, Sharma’s duties will be shared between president Annette Warring and chief strategy officer Sasha Grujicic.
