The PR and marketing industries made a solid showing on Profit/Chatelaine’s W100, a list of Canada’s top female entrepreneurs.
Now in its 15th year, the W100 ranks female entrepreneurs by a composite score that considers the size, growth rate and profitability of the companies they own and manage.
Pat McNamara, CEO of Apex Public Relations, is on the list for the 12th consecutive year. “It’s great to be with people with like minds and not only celebrating women, but celebrating entrepreneurism, which I’m big on,” she told Marketing. “You get very wrapped up in what your business is, so for me it’s inspiring to be recognized as being an entrepreneur and somebody who is good at running a business.”
