With Nova Scotia’s economy set to grow this year thanks in part to a healthy energy sector, communications and marketing firm Colour is launching an energy and environment practice under the leadership of the agency’s new principal Alice McCarron.
McCarron joins the agency from Heritage Gas, where her responsibilities as vice-president of business development and marketing included public and government relations.
Chris Keevill, president and chief executive officer at Colour, said the firm is actively courting new clients in the energy sector, and McCarron’s familiarity with the industry is a huge asset.
“We’re looking to strengthen our team with expertise in the energy sector. Her knowledge of that sector, capabilities as senior advisor and government relations are outstanding,” he said.
McCarron’s first client at Colour will be her former employer, Heritage Gas (Colour is the company’s communications agency of record). The natural gas company will be expanding its public and government relations work with McCarron as account leader.
Colour has offices in Halifax, St. John’s, Toronto and Moncton, and specializes in public relations, creative marketing, social media and digital advertising.
