Bell Media has named Domenic Vivolo its executive vice-president of content sales and distribution marketing, effective immediately. Vivolo reports directly to Bell Media president Kevin Crull.
Vivolo arrived at Bell in 2013 following its acquisition of the former Astral Media. He was most recently senior VP and general manager for Bell’s pay TV unit, with a broad purview including marketing, sales, creative services, market research, interactive media, integrated marketing solutions and customer relations for its pay services The Movie Network, HBO Canada and Viewers Choice Canada.
With Astral, Vivolo helped re-position and rebrand several of its leading TV services. He played a lead role in the development of its mobile service TMN Go, and was a principal member of the launch team behind its HBO Canada service.
Prior to joining Astral in 2000, Vivolo held senior positions at SkyDome (now the Rogers Centre), Hershey Canada and Canada Packers. He has also served as president of CTAM Canada and a board member for Promax and BDA.
