Newad has gone big – literally – with its new advertising campaign for a new Nokia smartphone.
The company launched a creative advertising campaign for the Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone last week in which massive replicas of the phone have been placed in more than 60 restobars and campuses in Montreal and Vancouver that are part of Newad’s advertising networks.
Montreal-based MO:PR worked with Newad on the Nokia Canada campaign.
Passersby are prompted to look into the phone’s lens, where they can see photos that highlight the capabilities of its 41-megapixel camera sensor and zoom feature. In a release, Sébastien Voyer, account manager at MO:PR, said the campaign is intended to promote the sensor – what he called the device’s “star feature.” The large phones also invite people to go to Nokia Canada’s Facebook page.
The campaign, which is also running on Newad’s “classic boards” (13” by 17” stainless steel frames), will appear in the restaurants and on campuses until Nov. 16.
